Songs of Peter Deunov

There The Foundation promotes Choral Singing and in particular the collection of sacred songs composed by the Bulgarian pedagogue Peter Deunov, then chosen and made to harmonize in 4 voices by OM Aivanhov. These chants help maintain and strengthen one’s overall health, and help the harmonization work among human beings. These songs, with their vibrations also contribute to maintaining and strengthening the Light in the world, since the voice is nothing but vibrations and these vibrations, brought to a certain degree of intensity, become Light.

“Singing together in a four-voice choir is a thing of great importance. In the beginning it is a reflection, an expression in the physical plane of the exercise that we must do every day, several times a day, to tune our spirit, the our soul, our intellect and our heart. We can compare the four voices – bass, tenor, alto, soprano – to the four strings of the violin, since the violin is an image of man: the note G represents the heart , the King the intellect, the A the soul, the E the spirit. The wood of the violin represents the physical body and the bow the will that acts on the four principles of the heart, the intellect, the soul and the spirit . The harmonious fusion of the four voices, or the four strings of an instrument, makes us understand that the four principles of heart, intellect, soul and spirit must vibrate in harmony in the human being “.

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

“When men and women sing together, their voices rise and merge above their heads, giving each other elements of extreme subtlety.
The voice is imbued with the vitality of human beings, with their perfume, with their magnetism. Beings are tied to their own voice like a small kite that flies tied to a long thread of which they hold the end; and when they sing together, their voice leaves them and sets out to meet other voices to merge with them, and later it returns to them amplified and enriched by all that it received in that fusion.
Therefore, through singing, the two principles ˆ masculine and feminine ˆ do first of all a work on high, in the subtle planes; later, what they have created in this way returns through the ears, and everyone benefits from a chaste and divine exchange. “

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

“Singing in chorus is an act of great significance: first of all it is a symbolic work that teaches us how to act to agree, to create harmony between us, because the fusion of the voices above our heads is, at the same time, a fusion of our souls and our spirits.
Furthermore, with choral singing, we express our desire to embrace the universe, to be in harmony with the whole. And that is why, before singing, you must always think about examining yourself internally to calm yourself, to keep away from everyday worries, to be in harmony with all the creatures of the cosmos and sing in unison with them. “

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

When you all sing together, tell yourself that you not only have the opportunity to do a work on yourself first, but also on the whole world! In fact, the harmony you create spreads little by little and affects all creatures in space. With an individualistic philosophy, with individualistic research, can a choir be formed? No, you do a solo, that’s all. When there are many, however, a choir is formed. Working alone and only for yourself is not enough. Of course, everyone must work individually – because a community must be made up of well-developed individuals – but without ever losing sight of the collective interest. The new philosophy does not reject the old one, that of individual improvement, but individual improvement must always be able to serve the good of all. You may not have thought of it, yet, here it is: belonging to a choir gives us a lesson for the conduct of our whole life. “
